Stake out a spot long before the parade starts. You'll get great photos! Check the Park schedules and look for spot that you won't get crowded out of. Sign posts are good for this, but watch our for trash cans, they seem to end up with someones spilled drink and you don't want to sit in that. Also ask which way the parade runs, and take that into consideration. Some parades start on main street, others end up there.

There is a hidden mickey on one of the pylons outside the ExtraTerrorEstrial Encounter at the  Magic Kingdom. It is hidden in the icon inscriptions in the design.

Look for the Hidden Mickey at the end of Splash Mountain in the clouds of the Riverboat Scene.

Look for the talking trash can outside Cosmic Rays in Tomorrowland.  Be sure you have something to throw away - it's a hoot.
