What I Look At
Your website
homepage, about page, services or offers, calls to action. I'm looking at whether the story holds from page to page: whether a stranger landing anywhere can quickly understand what you do and who it's for, and whether the path from curious to convinced is actually clear.
Your social profiles
chosen from a list of the most common platforms. What I'm looking for is whether someone finding you on Instagram gets the same picture as someone finding you on LinkedIn — whether your bios, your language, and your positioning are saying the same thing in different places or quietly pulling in different directions.
Your Substack or email newsletter
if you have one, how it fits with everything else. The newsletter is often where people's real voice lives — and sometimes that's completely disconnected from the more polished version on the website. I'm looking at whether it reinforces the overall picture or contradicts it.
Messaging alignment across all of it
whether the through-line holds, or where it breaks. This is what the rest of the audit builds toward: is there one clear, consistent answer to “what does this person do and who is it for” across every touchpoint — or does the answer shift depending on where you find them.
AI visibility
whether your presence is coherent enough for AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to find, understand, and recommend you. This isn't a technical crawl check. It's a coherence question: AI recommends brands it can clearly categorize. If your presence is fragmented or inconsistent, AI can't confidently surface your name — even if you've been doing this for years. I'm looking at your digital presence the way a new potential client would — and then I'm going deeper, because I know what to look for.

I go through your full digital presence with the Digital Coherence framework. Typically two to three hours of focused attention. No tool does this part for me.
3. You get the report.
Within five to seven business days. Written, clear, specific. You'll know what to fix first before you close the email.
